Xbox Games on Demand for September 27, 2011


While Games on Demand or downloadable games, I feel, in general is a good thing. It beats having to go out to the store at times, especially if it isn't close, and you can download it while you are busy doing other things. But I also always feel that games on demand should not be the same price as they are in the store. I suppose there is the cost of bandwidth for downloading the game but you don't get a box, manual, or physical disc so what justifies the same price? Microsoft, that's just my peeve, especially with Crysis 2 this week. $59.99 to download? But in a brighter light, there is Resident Evil Code: Veronica X. That is new on Xbox so perhaps that justifies it's $19.99 price point although, how old is the game now? Anyway, here is the complete list of releases for Games on Demand for September 27th:

Blur - $39.99 - 5.35GB
The Games on Demand version supports English, French, Italian, German, Spanish. Blur: Powered-Up Racing. Travel the globe to beat the best the streets have to offer. Crysis 2 - $59.99 - 5.49GB

The Games on Demand version supports English. It has been 3 months since the destruction of Raccoon City. Claire Redfield travels to Europe in search of her brother. The captured Claire is then sent to Rockfort Island, but shortly after her arrival the island is attacked! Amidst the chaos, a horde of zombies are released!
